Zuccaly – the long-awaited Italian food hall coming to Coral Gables – has announced its opening date. The restaurant will start a soft opening next Thursday, October 8.
And we’ve got new details about the menu as well.
The Burn Miami first told readers about the plans for Zuccaly more than a year ago.
The food hall concept has set up shop at The Plaza Coral Gables on Ponce de Leon Boulevard alongside MIKA, Cantina Leon, CVI.CHE 105, Mottai, and many other dining establishments.

Inside the space, there are six different restaurant stations:
- Portavia Gastro Market – prepared foods, pantry staples and Italian imports to take home
- The Pasta & Risotto Hall – fresh-made pasta and creamy risottos
- La Biga Pizza Hall – with a dough that takes six days to make
- The Grill & Fish Hall – live-fire grill offering chicken, prime cuts and fish alla brace
- Il Giardino – salads, antipasti, salumeria and Italian street food
- Dolci & Gelato – pastries, gelato and Italian sweets
Just glancing through the extensive menu, some of the dishes that jump out at us include a Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, a Prosciutto Crudo e Arugula pizza, the Costata di Manzo 15-ounce grilled prime ribeye steak, and a Matilda Cioccolato Cake with layers of dark chocolate ganache.
That’s just scratching the surface of the offerings at Zuccaly. You can see all of the menu items here.

Zuccaly is the latest creation from Erasmo Da Silva, who opened the much-admired Zucca Italian restaurant in the Gables back in 2017.
When it starts its soft opening next week, the food hall will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9. Then the hours shift to 1 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October, 11.
Zuccaly will be closed the following Monday and Tuesday and hours beyond that are yet to be released.
