La Pecora Bianca, a new Italian restaurant coming to Coral Gables, is getting close to completion and has announced a new target for opening.
As readers of The Burn Miami know, La Pecora Bianca is going into the Shops at Merrick Park. It’s taking over the ground level space that was previously home to the Villagio restaurant.
Work on the space started more than a year ago. One of our reporters recently went by and got the photograph below showing the future outdoor dining area of La Pecora Bianca.
It includes a herringbone tile on the patio, new tile work on the walls, new doorways and windows and new awnings.
Now, the restaurant’s management team has announced via social media that they are planning a November opening. A specific date hasn’t been revealed yet.
La Pecora Bianca is a New York-based brand with seven locations around NYC, according to the company’s website.
The restaurant’s menu is filled with all sorts of Italian favorites, including dishes such as Spaghetti, Rigatoni, and Tagliatelle served in various styles.
Other mains include a Chicken Paillard, a Branzino, a Heritage Pork Chop, and more. You can see the full menu for one of the New York locations here.
