The newest location for a growing sushi restaurant brand has officially opened its doors in Coral Gables. We’re talking about the new Bonsai Sushi.
The Burn Miami first told readers about the plans for Bonsai in the Gables a year ago.
It’s taken over the former Chicken Kitchen spot at 111 Miracle Mile and given the space a complete overhaul.
According to the Bonsai Sushi website, the brand is based in Venezuela where it has more than 30 locations. It opened its first U.S. restaurant in 2024 at 10832 Northwest 58th Street in Doral.
The menu at Bonsai Sushi includes all the favorite rolls and related items plus lots of other dishes including an Asian Chicken Curry, a Lomo Saltado, and a Pad Thai.
They also have Crab Croquettes on the starters menu – a Bonsai Sushi signature dish. You can see the full Bonsai Sushi menu here.
