The much-anticipated new restaurant La Sponda Ristorante & Grill has opened on Grove Isle at 4 Grove Isle Drive in Coconut Grove.
The elegant waterfront Italian restaurant has been in the works for more than a year. The Burn Miami first told readers about it last summer.
Now, La Sponda’s doors are open and we have a first look inside the finished space – and a first look at the menu.
The restaurant serves up appetizers such as Skipper Sweet Oysters, Wagyu Carpaccio, and a full caviar service.
From the grill, there is Faroe Island Salmon, an Australian Cobungra Station Wagyu Fileto di Manzo, and more.
There are pasta dishes including a Spaghetti Chitarra al Tartufo with Burgandy truffles, cultured butter, and spuma di Parmigiano.

Currently, La Sponda is open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m.
