Unfortunate news to report tonight – the Sospiro Wine Bar & Cucina in downtown Coral Gables has apparently closed its doors.
The Burn Miami happened to be walking by as they were papering over the windows. A peek inside showed that most of the furnishings had been removed.
Sospiro opened at 2626 Ponce de Leon Boulevard back in 2023. It was known for its selection of organic wines from small growers.
A note on the Sospiro website reads: “It is time for us to take a short break to recharge. Sharing so many incredible bottles, laughs, and unforgettable nights with you and been absolute magic. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for pouring so much love into our space.”
It ends by saying “stay tuned for updates.”
