(Updated) A new French pastry shop is ready for business in downtown Coral Gables. It is the latest location for Le Macaron French Pastries.
Le Macaron has moved into the vacant space at 392 Miracle Mile. That’s at the far west end of the Mile, nearly on Le Jeune.
A grand opening is being celebrated on Saturday, August 29 from 3 to 7 p.m.
Le Macaron French Pastries features exactly what you would expect – a delectable lineup of macarons – the delicate French “cookie” that comes in all types of flavors.
There are also other French pastries and cakes, gelato, coffee drinks, and even a small gift shop of sorts with tea sets and other niceties.
The brand has stores across the country including more than a dozen in Florida, according to its website. But the new Gables spot is the only one currently in South Florida.
However, it appears that there was a Le Macaron briefly on Miracle Mile more than a decade ago, so perhaps this is a triumphant return to the market.
