An elegant new coffee shop and bakery is in the works for South Miami. It’s called Lulu Cafe & Bakery.
The cafe will be coming to the ground floor of the Avalon South Miami apartment building on Southwest 58th Court – going in right next door to the new Fresh Market grocery store.
“From scrumptious morning recipes alongside freshly brewed coffee to an irresistible lunch menu – explore our gourmet bakery and indulge in the finest desserts and baked goods in town,” the Lulu website reads.
A menu for Lulu Cafe we found online includes breakfast sandwiches such as a Classic Croque Monsieur and a Serrano Manchego Croissant with Egg.
Lunch dishes include a Truffle Grilled Cheese Sandwich, a Wood Grilled Veggie Sandwich and a Smoked Salmon Toast.
There are also various pastries, salads, desserts, and more.
You can see the full Lulu menu below – although it’s not clear if this is the final menu for the South Miami location or just a tentative one at this point.
There are references to other Lulu locations, including one reportedly in the works for Miami Beach, but we didn’t find any listings for current stores.
No word when Lulu Cafe & Bakery will open in SoMi. We’ve got messages in for more details. Right now, everything just says “coming soon.”
