A new bagel shop called PopUp Bagels continues its expansion in South Florida with word that a South Miami location is in the works.
Thanks to our friends at Miami Food Pug, we’ve learned that a PopUp Bagels is coming to 5828 Sunset Drive.
That spot was previously the Tiger Sugar bubble tea shop.
The menu at PopUp Bagels is decidedly simple – you choose your bagel (plain, everything, poppy, salt, and sesame are the standards) and then you choose your schmear.
They have plain and scallion cream cheese, salted butter, and then weekly special flavors such as elote cream cheese or chimichurri butter.
Smoked salmon is also available as a topping. You can see the full PopUp Bagels menu here.
PopUp Bagels is a growing brand with locations open or in the works in 14 states. The first Miami-Dade outlet for PopUp opened last month in Aventura. Another location is in the works for Brickell.
And now one is headed to South Miami. No word yet on a timeline for opening. We’ve got messages in for more details.
