A new Italian restaurant with some iconic bonafides is getting ready to open this week in Coral Gables. We’re talking about the new Casa Vialetto.
That name made ring a bell with residents in the area. That’s because Casa Vialetto is a new incarnation of the much-loved Caffe Vialetto that closed in 2025 after 26 years in business. (You can see our report on the closure here.)
Marcelo Chopa, one of the founders of Caffe Vialetto, is the mastermind behind the new restaurant which will officially open this Friday, May 22.
It will be located at 276 Alhambra Circle, once the previous home to the Altagracia restaurant.
Casa Vialetto will be open for both lunch and dinner and feature some of the classics from the previous restaurant as well new dishes.
The menu includes Creamy Polenta, Salmon Carpaccio, Pappardelle Short Rib, Risotto Carbonara, and Chicken Parmesan. You can see the full Casa Vialetto menu here.
