Grove’s new 1986 Steak House reveals opening day menu

A new Argentinian-style steakhouse is getting ready to open in Coconut Grove – and now, we’ve got a sneak peek at its debut menu.

The Burn Miami first broke the news about 1986 Steak House coming to the Grove back in early 2025. And more recently, we told readers that opening day would be this Monday, May 4.

It’s opening in the Mayfair in the Grove center, right across the breezeway from Carbone Vino. The street address is 2911 Grand Avenue, Suite 111.

Now, we’ve got a first look at the menu and it’s chock full of great sound dishes.

The appetizer menu includes grilled items such as Provoleta Cheese, Sweetbreads, Chorizo, and Foie Gras. The raw bar offerings include Octopus Carpaccio and Oysters on the Half Shell.

There is a caviar service as well as empanadas, a variety of salads, and more.

Of course, steaks are the signature item at 1986 Steak House. The menu offers traditional cuts such as Ribeye and a New York Strip, but also a 5 oz. Shimane Prefecture Japanese A5 and 40-Day Dry-Aged Prime 35 oz. Porterhouse.

Sides include a Japanese Sweet Potato, Mac & Cheese, and Bone Marrow. You can see the full 1986 Steak House menu below.
