Three brothers have opened a new bodega in Coconut Grove and are serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
It’s called Bodega Ortega and it’s located at 2865 Bird Avenue. The site was previously a convenience store and the new bodega fulfills much the same role.
Carlos, Alvaro and Sebastian Ortega bought the c-store and this past week, quietly opened their new store.
The store offers shelves of grocery staples like any good bodega – candy, beer, ice and more. There are coffee drinks and fresh pastries.
There are bagel breakfast sandwiches and regular sandwiches – including a Turkey Cuban, a Mortadella, the “Prosciutto Mozz,” and “La Suegra,” a vegetarian option.
