South Miami getting a new gourmet market

A new gourmet foods market is in the works for South Miami – bringing imported cheeses, cured meats, and elegant sweets to the community.

It will be called Antipasti Market and it’s opening soon at 6148 South Dixie Highway.

Antipasti Market will be taking a storefront next door to the La Granja Latin American restaurant.

While the full lineup of products isn’t available yet, the team at Antipasti has teased on social media that they will have items such as Époisses Berthaut cow’s milk cheese from Burgandy, Beher Iberico ham and Mitica Nieve de Cabra goat cheese from Spain, and Rougié Mousse Roayle of Duck Foie Gras from Quebec.

Butcher-cut meats, gourmet olives, macarons, caviar, and a curated selection of hostess gifts will also be part of the market’s inventory.

No official opening date has been announced yet for Antipasti Market, so stay tuned.
