It looks like Kiko Sushi in South Miami have given up the ghost. The Japanese restaurant has apparently closed for good.
Located at 5829 Southwest 73rd Street, Kiko Sushi originally opened back in 2023.
Now, the windows are papered over, the restaurant’s phone number has been disconnected, and Kiko’s Google listing online says “permanently closed.”
It may or may not be coincidence that the closing of Kiko Sushi comes just a few months after the opening of Tokyo Tuna – another sushi-centric restaurant – right across the street. (See our report on Tokyo Tuna here.)
No word yet what new tenant might take the Kiko spot. It sits just a few doors down from another noteworthy vacant space – the corner unit that was the former home of Bar Bella and Vice City Pizza.
