The local Emmy Squared Pizza is no more. The pizza joint in downtown Coral Gables has closed its doors for good.
Located at 230 Miracle Mile, the restaurant specialized in Detroit-style rectangular pizzas and was part of a small chain with roughly 30 locations around the country.
Now, the signage has been removed, the windows are papered over, and the store’s Google listing has been changed to “permanently closed.”
Emmy Squared first opened in the Gables less than two years ago – back in the summer of 2024.
There was also an Emmy Squared in Fort Lauderdale. That restaurant closed in 2025 after approximately 18 months in business.
No word yet on what future tenant will take over the Emmy Squared space, so stay tuned.
