A major downtown landlord is confirming the news we broke here more than two months – that the restaurant chain Moxies is planning a huge new location in downtown Coral Gables.
Terranova Corporation, which has multiple Miami and Coral Gables properties in its portfolio, shared the news on social media this week.
Back in January, The Burn Miami was the first media outlet to report that the Canadian-based restaurant chain was planning on tearing down the former Navarro Discount Pharmacy building at the corner of Miracle Mile and Galiano Street.
In its place, Moxies will build a massive two story restaurant with dining rooms and bars on both levels plus an outdoor rooftop terrace. All told, the restaurant plans call for seating for nearly 400 diners.
You can see our original report here.

Moxies is currently in a major growth mode with three locations in Florida so far – one in Brickell in downtown Miami, one in Fort Lauderdale, and a new one that just opened in West Palm Beach.
Now you can add Coral Gables to the list. Word is the company is looking towards a 2027 opening for the Miracle Mile location.
