Bolivian coffee shop closes its doors in the Gables

It appears somethings just weren’t meant to be. A small Bolivan coffee shop that opened late last year on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables has closed its doors for goods.

We’re referring to Alto Tostado Coffee Roasters which opened in October at 374 Miracle Mile, as reported here on The Burn Miami.

The shop, which served up coffee beverages and pastries had good credentials – having been named one of the Top 100 South American coffee shops. But perhaps that success didn’t translate.

The shop is now locked up and dark – and a representative for the brand tells us its permanent.

No word yet if Alto Tostado will give it another go in a different location. Also, no word yet on what new tenant might take over the space next.
