A new pizza joint specializing in “Roman” style pies has announced its grand opening date in Coral Gables. We’re talking about the new Belluz Pizza.
Per social media, Belluz will start welcoming customers this coming Friday, April 10 to its new location at 2413 Galiano Street.
That spot is just a few yards off Miracle Mile in the former Pomodoro’s Pizza space.
The Burn Miami first broke the news about Belluz coming to the Gables last October.
According to the restaurant’s website, they will serve up Roman pizzas that are described as “a round, thin, crispy crust … made with a light dough, long fermentation, and the freshest ingredients.”
There is also expected to be thicker, rectangular pan-style pizzas made for sharing. Other details about the menu haven’t been revealed yet.
Considering the small footprint of the store, Belluz will undoubtedly be focusing on carryout and/or delivery. However, they may be a few seats inside for diners.
