The long-awaited new Japanese restaurant Mottai has started a quiet “soft opening” in Coral Gables.
As The Burn Miami has reported, Mottai has taken up residence in a prominent spot facing Ponce de Leon Boulevard as part of The Plaza Coral Gables development.
It’s located in the same block as the Fogo de Chão Brazilian steakhouse.
As part of the opening, we now have our first look at the Mottai menu. It includes small cold and hot plates, such as Tuna Tartare and Steamed Clams.
It also has signature dishes such as its Black Garlic Chicken. There are steaks including a premium American Wagyu Ribeye.
And then – of course – there are all kinds of sushi style options including Nigiri, Sashimi, Temaki, and Maki dishes. You can see the full Mottai food menu below.
