Chef Martin Monteverde is a busy man. He recently opened his signature sushi restaurant Kinsu Nikkei in South Miami. Now, he’s opened another new establishment.
Monteverde is the owner of Alma, a restaurant the celebrates Spanish and coastal Mediterranean cuisine with some Latin American flair mixed in.
“Our menu is built around the idea that food carries history, culture, and emotion — and when flavors cross paths, something deeply comforting and unexpectedly exciting happens,” he told The Burn Miami.
Alma is located at 12661 South Dixie Highway. That’s in the Pinecrest Town Center shopping plaza.
The menu at Alma includes starters such as Yuccas Bravas, Steamed Mussels, and Grilled Octopus.
Mains include a Braised Veal Shank, a Lobster Macaroni, and a Coconut Salmon. You can see more of the Alma menu below.
