A quick update to a story that The Burn Miami reported on New Year’s Eve – the impending opening of The Fresh Market’s newest location – this time in South Miami.
At the time of our previous story, the opening was targeted for late January – with conflicting dates of January 22 or perhaps January 28.
Now, a sign has gone up on the exterior of the store at 5850 Southwest 73rd Street and it looks like Wednesday, January 28 is the big day.
The Fresh Market is located on the ground floor of the new Avalon apartment complex. Longtime area residents know that it sits on the site of a former Winn-Dixie supermarket.
The Fresh Market is best known for its prepared foods, fresh produce, baked goods, and other gourmet offerings.
