Multiple sources are reporting that a new Chick-fil-A restaurant is in the works for Coconut Grove. It will be coming to the corner South Dixie Highway and Carter Street.
Fencing is up around the property and a sign hanging on it says a Chick-fil-A is planned for the site. The exact address is 3510 South Dixie Highway.
According to the Chick-fil-A website, there are at least nine CFA locations north of the Tamiami Trail, but only one south of it – at Dadeland Mall.
So this new location in the Grove will start to fill in that Chick-fil-A desert around the Gables, the Grove, and South Miami.
The Atlanta-based chain has more than 3,000 locations. It’s famous for its chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and the fact that all locations are closed on Sundays.
No word when the new Grove spot will open, so stay tuned.
