The new Casa Mx restaurant on Douglas Road by Coral Gables has officially opened its doors – bringing a new option for Mexican cuisine to the area.
The Burn Miami first broke the news earlier this month about Casa Mx opening at 2345 Southwest 37th Avenue.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, but specializes in botanas – appetizer-sized shareable plates similar to tapas.
“Growing up, every significant moment, every family gathering, every casual weeknight dinner, revolved around a setting where food was always shared,” the restaurant’s website reads. “There were no individual plates – instead, large, heaping platters and pots were passed around, encouraging conversation, connection, and a sense of shared experience.”
The menu includes a Ceviche de Conchas, Beef Albondigas, Esquites, Camarones con Ajo Negro, and a variety of tacos including carnitas, chorizo, lengua, and duck.
There are also large plates such as a Carne Asada and a Pollo Arabe Kebab. There is also a full bar. You can see the Casa Mx food menu below.
