A new bagel shop is coming to downtown Coral Gables. It’s going to be the latest location for the growing Mitch’s Downtown Bagel Cafe brand.
Mitch’s got its start in South Florida three decades ago and currently has locations in Weston, Fort Lauderdale, and Hallandale Beach.
Now, it’s coming to the Gables with a new cafe located at 271 Alhambra Circle. There is already temporary signage up in the windows at the site.
The menu at Mitch’s Downtown includes all-day breakfast items such as avocado toasts, omelets, pancakes, and – of course – bagels and bagel sandwiches.
The menu also has deli sandwiches, wraps, coffee beverages, and more. You can see the Fort Lauderdale version of the menu below. The future Gables menu should be similar.
No official opening date has been set yet. The Mitch’s Downtown team is also working on a new location in Coral Springs.
