La Birra Bar – a gourmet burger restaurant – is expanding again and this time they are moving into the heart of Coral Gables.
The Burn Miami has learned that La Birra Bar will be taking the roughly 3,000 s.f. space at 219 Miracle Mile. That’s the former home of the Ojo de Agua Mexican restaurant.
According to its website, La Birra Bar already has five locations across South Florida – Wynwood, North Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Weston, and the latest in Doral.
Coral Gables will be location No. 6 for the brand.
If you haven’t been, the menu at La Birra Bar is focused on burgers of all kinds.
There’s the Crispy Onion with Black Angus Argentinian beef patties, topped with American cheese, bacon, crispy onions, and the restaurant’s secret mayo.
Other burgers include the Golden Chimi Smash, the Messy Burger, the Egg Bacon, and many more.
The menu also has French fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, nachos, and a lineup of curated hotdogs. You can see the full menu for La Birra Bar below.
No word on when La Birra Bar will open in the Gables. The deal is brand new – it was signed just before the holidays. But worry not – we’ll keep you posted.
