A new Ecuadoran restaurant has opened its doors in downtown Coral Gables. We’re talking about El Ñaño on Miracle Mile.
The Burn Miami was the first media outlet to report the news back in June about El Ñaño opening at 339 Miracle Mile. That’s the former home of the Belmont Spanish Restaurant.
El Ñaño may be serving Ecuadoran cuisine, but it’s actually a European-based restaurant brand with several locations in Spain in Barcelona and Madrid.
Dishes on the menu include Bolón de Plátano con Chicharrón (plantain dumping with pork cracklings), Choclo Asado (grilled Andean corn), various Ecuadorian ceviches, a Cazuela de Pescado (fish casserole), Chaulafán (Ecuadorian-style fried rice), and a Picaña a la Brasa steak.

The dining room at El Ñaño is airy and spacious with a green-tiled accent wall, light wood tone tables, and wicker chairs.
