The Fresh Market is getting ready to open the doors of its new store in South Miami. Sources say it will start welcoming customers in late January.
The supermarket brand is bringing its latest South Florida location to 5850 Southwest 73rd Street.
A manager at the site told The Burn Miami they were aiming to open on Thursday, January 22. Meanwhile, the Google listing for the store has Wednesday, January 28 as the target opening.
The store is on the ground floor of the Avalon apartment complex. The whole project sits on the site of a former Winn-Dixie supermarket.
The Fresh Market is known for its prepared foods, fresh produce, baked goods, and unique or gourmet offerings.
There are several other Fresh Market locations in the Miami area, including one on South Bayshore Drive and another one on Southwest 136th Street.
