The new cafe and bakery Honey Veil is holding its grand opening this weekend in South Miami.
Saturday, December 6 is the big day – special hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Burn Miami first broke the news about their new brick-and-mortar location at 5748 Sunset Drive back in August. Since then, they’ve been hard at work giving the space a new, fresh look.
Matcha is the specialty of Honey Veil and the menu has items such as the Blue Babe Matcha, the Brunei Dirty Matcha, and the Yuzu Matcha Spritz. A Banana Bread Matcha is one of the current special flavors.
There are also coffee drinks and baked items.
“By prioritizing your gut, we create our baked goods with sourdough and avoid refined sugars in the majority of our items,” the brand’s website reads. “Our natural sweeteners include agave, maple syrup, and coconut sugar, offering a healthier yet indulgent experience.”
Honey Veil has been holding a soft opening for the past week or so. If you want to check it out early, that will continue the rest of this week leading up to Saturday’s big opening celebration.
