The new Mezquite Taqueria & Michelada Bar is scheduled to hold its grand opening in Miami today – Saturday, November 29.
As The Burn first told readers earlier this month, Mezquite is opening at 2280 Southwest 22nd Street, just east of Miracle Mile.
The celebration starts today at 5 p.m. and goes until 11 p.m. There will be live music, raffles, free food samples, and discounts on the restaurant’s signature micheladas – a beverage traditionally made with beer, lime juice, hot sauce, and spices.
Menu wise, Mezquite will specialize in what it bills as authentic Mexican cuisine with a focus on traditional street tacos and other favorites of the cuisine.
