A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday to celebrate the opening of the latest location for La Boulangerie Boul’Mich.
The new French bakery and cafe is located where the Gables meets South Miami at 1549 Sunset Drive.
La Boulangerie Boul’Mich – which has eight locations around South Florida – opened the Sunset Drive shop earlier this year. But as is common, ribbon cuttings with local business leaders and elected officials happen a few months later.

The menu at Boul’Mich includes various egg dishes, fancy toasts, sandwiches, pastas, pastries and other baked items, soups, salads, and more. You can check out the full menu here.
And if you’re wondering about that name – here is how the bakery describes the name Boul’Mich: an “affectionate nickname given to the Boulevard St. Michel in the Latin Quarter of Paris… known for its quaint cafés, bookstores, and shoppes.”
