Chèvre, the much-admired and fast-growing fromagerie and gourmet sandwich shop, has announced it is bringing a new flagship location to Coral Gables.
Chèvre says it plans to open a new store next year in the historic Douglas Entrance property at the intersection of Douglas Road and 8th Street.
The site, which dates to 1927, has been developed into an office park with some retail space as well.
“A century ago, this gateway welcomed dreamers to the City Beautiful,” the announcement reads. “Now, it welcomes a new chapter of culinary artistry — European cheese culture, fine wine, and modern Miami elegance — all under one timeless arch.”

Chèvre already has its original location at 1295 Coral Way. And as The Burn Miami has been reporting, the brand is also working on opening a new location in Coconut Grove.
That store will be part of the new sales center for the Ziggarut condo complex going up in the heart of the Grove. It is expected to open in November.

Chèvre also has a location in the Design District in Miami and is planning additional locations elsewhere.
Chèvre was founded by Mario Naar, an FIU grad and Cordon Bleu-trained chef who is involved in many different food and beverage enterprises in South Florida and internationally.
No firm date when the new Coral Gables Chèvre will open. Right now, it’s just listed as coming in 2026.
