One of our favorite kind of stories here at The Burn Miami is when a local brand starts to expand more widely – and that’s just what’s happening with the popular Subby’s Subs.
The South Miami sub shop is getting ready to add a new location in Kendall. It’s been announced that Subby’s will take over the former Jersey Mike’s restaurant space at 13668 North Kendall Drive.
Construction work has already started on the unit, which is located next door to a Panera Bread restaurant. We’re told the new Subby’s is aiming to be open this fall if all goes smoothly.
The deal for the new spot was put together by Danny Pou with Fuse CRE and Danny Diaz from The Diaz Team with CBRE.
The first Subby’s Subs opened in 2023 at 7370 Southwest 57th Avenue in South Miami.
The tiny shop quickly made a name for itself with its Honey Mustard Chicken sub sandwich, its Wagyu Chopped Cheese sub sandwich, and its many other hot subs, cold subs, and salads.
