1986 Steak House aiming for November opening in the Grove

Some interesting new details to report on the upcoming 1986 Steak House headed to Coconut Grove, including that the team behind the new restaurant has announced a rough target for opening.

According to their nascent social media, they are looking aiming to open sometime in November.

The Burn Miami first reported on the plans for the 1986 Steak House back in April.

We told readers how it was under construction at the Mayfair in the Grove development, directly across the breezeway from the Carbone Vino restaurant.

The restaurant has also confirmed that it will be an Argentinian-style steakhouse as we originally reported.

The cocktail program at 1986 is being created by the folks at Tres Monos, a trendy bar located in Buenos Aires.

This will be the second major new steakhouse to open in the Grove in a matter of months. As readers of The Burn Miami know, Chop Steakhouse & Bar opened in Cocowalk in June.
