Vice City Pizza staying put in South Miami

Vice City Pizza is going to become a permanent fixture in South Miami. That’s the word from our friends over at The Herald.

Today, the paper reported that Vice City – which already has a popular location in Kendall – is going to stay at its second location at 5829 Southwest 73rd Street. The Burn Miami confirmed the news as well.

That spot was home to Bar Bella Tapas, which will be moving some of its menu and offerings over to sister restaurant Cebada, the rooftop nightspot on Giralda Avenue in the Gables.

Vice City Pizza – famed for its Detroit-style pies – originally started serving in South Miami earlier this summer as a pop-up of sorts.

The brand was founded in 2021 by Chef Carlos Estarita. He started tinkering with pizza recipes during the pandemic and Vice City grew from there.

The pizzeria’s menu includes red pizzas, white pizzas, vegan pizzas, appetizers, desserts, and more. You can see the full SoMi lineup here.
