A delay to report to you today – the new Flight West Wine, Whiskey & Kitchen restaurant coming to South Miami has had to postpone its grand opening.
Loyal readers may recall that Flight West announced back in May that its opening day would be Friday, August 15. But alas, things haven’t moved as quickly as the Flight West team hoped and that date is going to push.
According to a new announcement on social media, they are now aiming for a late September/early October opening.
Flight West has taken over the space at 5894 Sunset Drive. That’s the former home of SIM Restaurant, a sushi and tapas eatery that shut its doors earlier this year.
While they have been sharing images of their dishes online – items like lamb chops and lobster pasta – the full Flight West menu hasn’t been released yet. Stay tuned.
