Big news in the Gables’ restaurant scene – the much-loved Hereford Grill is ready to roll again.
The team at the Coral Gables steakhouse has announced it will open anew this coming Friday, September 5 and they’ve shared a sneak peek inside.
Hereford originally opened in the late 1990s and had a successful 25 year run before closing during the fallout of the pandemic.

Now the folks at Da Silva Hospitality Group – the same team behind Coral Gables favorite Zucca – are reopening a reimagined Hereford Grill.
Located at 782 Northwest 42nd Avenue, the restaurant has been given a sharp new look and a new menu of premium steaks grilled over an open flame.

“We cook with a combination of charcoal and wood — key elements that infuse each cut with a rich, smoky depth,” the restaurant’s website reads.
“The unmistakable sizzle and the aromatic wood smoke elevate every dish, creating a culinary journey that honors the time-honored traditions of grilling.”

The menu will also feature appetizers, salads, sides, and desserts, plus there is a full bar with an extensive wine list and curated cocktail lineup.
