Chinese restaurant RedFarm closes in Coconut Grove

Sad news in Coconut Grove where the RedFarm Chinese restaurant has closed its doors. It’s last day of service was this past Sunday, June 29.

The restaurant – which still has two locations in NYC and one in Austin, Texas – made the announcement on social media.

“Thank you to all of our guests who joined us in Miami. We wanted to let you know that we will be closing our Coconut Grove location,” the post read in part.

The message also offered a bit of hope that RedFarm may be returning in the near future somewhere else in the greater Miami area.

“Jeffrey and Zach Chodorow, co-owners, plan to reopen at a new, yet to be found, South Florida location in the future,” the post read. “We look forward to serving you our Pac-Man Shrimp Dumplings, Ed’s Pastrami Egg Roll, and signature Peking Duck, at a new location soon.”

RedFarm was located at 3131 Commodore Plaza in the Grove. It originally opened there in early 2024.
