Sad news coming out of Coral Gables where the much loved Italian fusion restaurant Caffe Vialetto has announced it will close its doors.
The news came via social media. “What started as a humble eatery has grown into something far greater: a space filled with laughter, memories, and heartfelt moments shared over meals,” the message read in part. “We’re endlessly grateful for your support, your stories, and your appetite.”
The restaurant – which is located at 4019 Le Jeune Road – went on to say its last day open will be Saturday, August 16.
Caffe Vialetto originally started welcoming guests 26 years ago – in 1999.
The team there went on to make a name for itself with iconic dishes such as Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli and a twist on a classic tiramisu known as “The Funk.”
