Coconut Grove

3190 is a new lasagna only restaurant in the Grove

Coconut Grove already had Cotoletta – a restaurant that has a Cotoletta alla Milanese – breaded veal cutlet – as the main item on the menu, with just a few sides to go with it.

Now it’s lasagna’s turn.

3190 has opened at 3190 Commodore Plaza and – you guessed it – the menu at the tiny eatery focuses on one dish – lasagna.

There is a traditional Bolognese meat version and a vegetarian version – and that’s all other than some wine offerings to accompany you meal.

The traditional lasagna is called the Si Papa – which was “a young Ballerina’s response to her father whenever he offered her his special lasagna,” according to the restaurant’s social media.

It won’t surprise you to learn that both Cotoletta and 3190 have some of the same minimalist owners.

3190 can be found tucked in by LoKal, a longtime burger and beer joint at the same address. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 5:30 p.m. until they sell out.
