Closing day is coming soon for Fiola Miami, a fine dining Italian restaurant in Coral Gables near Sunset Drive. It’s shutting its doors because the owners are planning on bringing in a new restaurant to replace it.
The Gioia Hospitality Group has announced that Fiola’s last day will be Saturday, June 21.
After that, work will begin to turn the space at 1500 San Ignacio Avenue into a restaurant called Daniels, a Florida Steakhouse.
There is already one Daniel’s, a Florida Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale.
The menu at Daniel’s has everything you would expect from a high-end steak place. They have caviar. a classic Farmer Mike’s Iceberg Wedge Salad, Florida Blue Crab Cakes, and seafood such as Lobster Fra Diavolo and Grilled Canary Island Aquanaria Branzino.
On the steak menu, there is an Australian Margaret River Wagyu NY Strip, a Creekstone 35 Day Dry Aged Prime Cowboy Ribeye, and much more. You can see the full Daniel’s Fort Lauderdale menu here.
No official opening date for the new steakhouse has been announced yet, but the team at Daniel’s is currently aiming for an August start.
