Ōsumi – a cocktail and sushi bar in Coral Gables – has closed its doors temporarily while it undergoes some sort of renovations. That’s per a sign hanging on the door and a message posted online.
“We’re closed for renovations,” the website reads. Meanwhile, the door sign is more cryptic: “Due to a structural reform, we will remain closed until the work is completed. We expect to resume normal business hours as soon as possible…”
The Burn Miami sent several messages to the team at Ōsumi for more details about the work and the timeline to reopening, but no response so far. We’ll keep you posted.
Ōsumi opened to strong reviews a little over a year ago at 110 Giralda Avenue, along the pedestrian-only portion of the street.
It bills itself as “an elevated Japanese-American fusion restaurant with a touch of Latin flair.”
