The new Skinny Louie smash burger restaurant in Coral Gables is just about ready to open its doors.
The Burn Miami got a peek inside and it’s all built out and furnished. They are just putting the finishing touches on the space.
The new burger joint – part of a fast-growing local brand – is located at 153 Giralda. That’s in the pedestrian portion of the Giralda that is closed to vehicle traffic.
As we reported back in March, construction was underway and they were predicting a May opening. It looks like they will hit the target.
We were told that they hope to open the Gables spot in about two weeks – late May give or take – as long as everything goes smoothly. We’ll report back when we hear an official date.
According to the Skinny Louie website, there are four locations open so far – three in Miami and one in NYC.
They have seven more in the works in New York and around South Florida, including the one we recently told you about in South Miami.
