The new Skinny Louie smash burger restaurant in Coral Gables has reportedly unlocked its doors and started welcoming customers as it gets ready for its official opening this weekend.
As readers of The Burn Miami know, the growing smash burger chain has been working on a new spot at 153 Giralda Avenue. That’s the former home of the Chala Taqueria restaurant.
We’re told that Skinny Louie has started a soft opening at the restaurant. This is a time without a lot of hoopla and promotion where new teams can make sure everything is working properly.
The official grand opening takes place this coming Friday – May 23 – at 6 p.m. They are planning on giving away free burgers to the first 100 people in line.
The restaurant – which has a straightforward menu of burgers, fries, and milkshakes – have five locations now. Four here in the Miami area and one in New York City.
