Well, it’s no longer a secret. A longtime Kendall-area restaurant called Secreto is making a move into the restaurant-centric Sunset Drive area off South Dixie Highway – and we can report it will be opening any day now.
Secreto Restaurant originally opened in 2009 and – until recently – was located on North Kendall Drive. However, the restaurant temporarily closed earlier this spring in order to make a move into the South Miami area.
The new location for Secreto will be at 5885 Southwest 73rd Street.
It’s gone into the spot that was once the home of Khoury’s Mediterranean Restaurant, a local staple that dated back to 1993 before closing earlier this year.
Secreto specializes in Mediterranean, Italian and Caribbean fusion cuisine. You can see more about the restaurant’s menu here.
The owners told The Burn Miami they could open as soon as this coming week – they’re just waiting on some last minute green lights from the city.
