The new Pura Vida Miami restaurant in Coconut Grove will officially open its doors tomorrow, Friday, May 9.
Neighbors and passers-by have watched with anticipation for months as the new store at 3000 Grand Avenue was built out. The PVM team has already been doing some practice services in the days leading up to the opening.
The latest outpost for the Miami-based brand is different in that it’s being called a “flagship” store. It’s larger than a typical Pura Vida, clocking in at roughly 6,000 s.f. and includes 30-foot high ceilings and unique decor.
The restaurant – which is known for its healthy offerings – will have all its usual favorites. We’re talking açai bowls, smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, salads, and all-day breakfast dishes.
But that’s not all. The Coconut Grove flagship will also have a new gelato concept onsite.

Called Gelato by PVM, the gelato they serve will be gluten free and flavored with natural sweeteners.
Regular readers of The Burn Miami may recall we predicted a May opening for the new Pura Vida Miami and sure enough, here we are.
