Well, that sure was quick. A new Mexican restaurant has opened its doors for business just weeks after The Burn Miami first broke the news that it was coming.
Fonda Doña Leonor quietly opened its doors this week at 369 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. The spot was previously a restaurant called The Brunchful.
Doña Leonor is a fast-casual restaurant serving up Mexican dishes such as tacos acorozados, tamarind mole enchiladas, traditional Oaxacan tlayudas, and homemade blue corn tortillas.

We’re told the team behind the restaurant is the same team that opened the Maiz y Agave restaurant just a couple of doors down from Doña Leonor.
In other words, they have two similar neighboring concepts – one full service, the other quick service. ¡Qué idea más interesante!
