Turns out The Melting Pot won’t be “melting soon” in Coral Gables, at least not on Miracle Mile. The Burn Miami has learned that the plans to bring the fondue restaurant brand there have been called off.
We spoke with Max Gelband, one of the commercial real estate agents representing the property, and he confirmed that the Melting Pot deal fell through.
He and his colleagues at the Comras Company are now actively seeking a new tenant for the roughly 4,800 s.f. space in a prime spot at 320 Miracle Mile.
While leasing the entire space is one option, another option – according to the prospectus for the site – is to demise it – or cut it – into two separate smaller spaces for two different tenants.
