Strada in the Grove announces opening date

It’s official. The much anticipated relaunch of the Strada in the Grove restaurant in Coconut Grove finally has a date on the calendar – and it’s just two weeks away.

The team at Strada has announced that they will reopen in their new location on Monday, April 21.

Back in late March, The Burn Miami reported that Strada expected to open in mid-April and it looks like they are going to hit that target.

The restaurant is located on a unique pie-shaped parcel of land at the corner of Grand Avenue and Commodore Plaza. The exact address is 3197 Commodore Plaza.

As we reported, Strada in the Grove used to be located just across the street on the other side of Commodore. The same owners also operated Farinelli 1937, a pizzeria, across the street.

Now, they are combining the two restaurants into one in the former Farinelli 1937 spot.

The folks at Strada have posted a menu online. It features dishes such as Olive Fritte – lightly fried green olives stuffed with gorgonzola cheese; Carpaccio Di Tonno – thinly sliced raw tuna fillet with avocado, dried black olives and a citrus emulsion; and Pappardelle Con Crema Di Porcini – a homemade pappardelle with a truffle porcini mushroom cream sauce.

That’s just a sampling from the menu which includes a large list of other pasta dishes as well as risottos, pizzas, salads, and many other items. You can check out the full Strada in the Grove menu here.
