Coconut Grove is just days away from the opening of the reincarnated Strada in the Grove restaurant – and now The Burn Miami has your first look inside the newly renovated space.
Two weeks ago, we first reported that Strada had settled on an opening date. The big day is next Monday, April 21.
Now, the owners have shared photos with us of the new restaurant – the dining room, the indoor bar, the outdoor bar, the patio, and more.
The restaurant is located on a wedge-shaped plot of land at the corner of Grand Avenue and Commodore Plaza. The exact address is 3197 Commodore Plaza.
Strada used to be located right across the street. And the same owners operated Farinelli 1937, a pizzeria, where the new Strada is today.
Basically, they have combined the two restaurants into one in the former Farinelli 1937 spot.
The menu at Strada will feature dishes such as Bistecchina Alla Girglia, a grilled marinated skirt steak served with caramelized onions, potato gratin, and sautéed broccolini; and Cozze Al Pomodoro – black mussels sautéed in mildly spicy tomato sauce, with basil and garlic and served with garlic crostini.
Pasta entrees include Linguine Alle Vongole, which is linguine sautéed with little neck clams, garlic, red crushed pepper, parsley, and diced fresh tomato; and Gnocchi Salentina, a homemade ricotta gnocchi with fresh tomato, garlic, basil, oregano, and fiordilatte mozzarella
There are many other other pasta dishes and entrees as well as risottos, pizzas, salads, appetizers, and more. You can see the main Strada lunch and dinner menu below.
