The Oakberry signs have been up in the windows for months, but we can now confirm work is underway inside the storefront on Miracle Mile in the Gables.
We know this because we walked by and heard hammering and the buzz of power tools vibrating from behind the covered over door.
Oakberry — an açai-centric restaurant — is coming to 269 Miracle Mile. The space was previously home to The Bakery Smoke Shop.
Oakberry is an international brand with locations across South America, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America. Here in Florida, there are at least 10 locations, according to the brand’s website.
The menu at Oakberry features focuses on bowls and smoothies featuring the famed açai fruit.
“We are on a journey to make açaí known and appreciated all over the globe,” the site reads. “Our healthy bowls and smoothies are now enjoyed by millions worldwide, especially those focused on their well-being.”
