A new boutique grocery store is in the works for Coconut Grove — but there’s one big unanswered question: where specifically it’s going to be located.
It’s called Basquet and it’s teasing on social media that they are hard at work building out their new storefront in the Grove. But they don’t seem to have released an address yet. Messages from The Burn for more details haven’t garnered a response so far.
What we know is that Basquet specializes in unique organic products and has put together a number pop-up stores in Florida and NYC in the past, but now they are going full brick-and-mortar.
“Catering towards unique dietary and lifestyle requirements is kind of our thing, so whether you have food allergies, personal preferences, or are just a food aficionado in the search for your next discovery, Basquet is the place for you,” the company’s online retail site reads.
Some of the products on their site include High Mountain Organic Olive Oil from Little Gypsy Farms, Kaizen Sea Moss Organic Coffee, Siesta Co. Citrus Sea Salt Flakes, and Round Table Farm Dahlia Cheese.
No word yet when Basquet will open in Coconut Grove – photos online show construction underway. We’ll report back when we have an address and more information.
